I was born in São Paulo, Brazil. Growing up, I had a different perspective of the world - my parents are Japanese. So the world outside was another from what I had inside my parents house. I learned how important it is to be open to bigger and bold ideas coming from everywhere. 

I found a love for print and design on my graduation years. After graduating I became fascinated with the way designers combined colors, typography, imagery to create products that could help fulfill lives. I graduated from the University of São Paulo, with a B.A. in Biological Sciences, but life gave a huge turn and I became an editor, a graphic designer and an UX-Designer.
